(Tune: Hark the Herald Angels Sing)

“Glory be to God on high!”
This is now our joyful cry.
Peace to all who live on earth,
Grace and favor for new birth.
You we praise and glorify,
Worship You, O Lord most high.
Gracious Father, heavenly King,
To Your Name alone we sing:
Praise the glory of Your Name,
Now and evermore the same!

Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son,
Sole-begotten, holy One.
Born on earth from realms on high,
Born true Man for us to die.
Lamb of God, You take away,
This world’s sin: Grant peace we pray.
With the Spirit, You alone,
Are most high, O God the Son,
And the Father God above,
Praise we now Your glorious love.

DORCAS NEWS

Due to the pandemic, DORCAS will NOT be holding their annual Bake Sale on Grandparents Day on Sept. 13th, nor will they be having their regular meeting on Sept. 17th.

There will, however, be quilting on Sept. 14th at 9 am, where we will practice social distancing.  As always, anyone needing to get out of the house is welcome to join our little group.  Quilting expertise is not necessary.  Please bring your brown sack lunch.

In spite of the fact that we will not be holding meetings or bake sales, we pray that we will be able to continue to support our mission endeavors throughout the year.  Our goal is to contribute $50.00/month to some worthy cause outside of the congregation.  If you would like to contribute towards this cause, please place your monies in an envelope (clearly marked for DORCAS) and either place it in the offering basket or put it in Audrey Ehlmann’s mailbox in the narthex.  As always ALL mites go directly to “Mites for Missions” and 10 percent of other donations will be given to Mites as well.  Thanks for your support.

     ~ Doris Burns, President
